Ed Caso and Justin Donati, both analysts at Wells Fargo Securities, reported that government services providers are increasingly taking note of potential revenue opportunities in the space domain.
Possible revenue streams include space launch and payload, cybersecurity, data analytics, computing support services as the federal government and some private investors pursue deep space exploration, Caso and Donati said in their IT/BPO Services Weekly report.
The analysts also noted that artificial intelligence and machine learning are starting to gain traction in the enterprise technology segment.
According to the report, the adoption of AI and ML is driven by people who develop algorithms to generate insights from large database systems and those who encode data into the repositories.
