SpyCloud has named Phil Fuster as vice president of government sales, responsible for navigating the complexities of federal, state and local government procurement to drive significant revenue growth and forge strategic partnerships and overseeing the overall strategy and execution of our public sector sales efforts.
Fuster, who has over three decades of experience in technology, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence sales, announced the appointment in a LinkedIn post on Sunday.
“I look forward to sharing our mission-specific and enterprise capabilities with our customers and partners,” Fuster said about his new role.

He joined SpyCloud from Hitachi Vantara Federal, where he served as chief growth officer responsible for leading strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, market expansion and business transformation.
He also held leadership roles at Lucid AI, NeXT, FedBid, Fortinet, Rackspace, CSC and Dell, with a focus on driving growth and operational excellence.
“My expertise lies in delivering cutting-edge solutions for data storage, management, and analytics—empowering U.S. government agencies and industry partners to achieve mission success through innovation and efficiency,” Fuster said in his LinkedIn profile.
The executive holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Maryland – Robert H. Smith School of Business and the University of Maryland Global Campus, respectively.
Fuster currently serves as an adviser to the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business MBA program, with a focus on data analytics and its use in AI. He was formerly co-chair of the Cyber Montgomery Conference, advising the boards of Cyber Maryland and the Maryland Tech Council and supporting the Cyber Defenders Award.
