Oshkosh’s (NYSE: OSK) defense arm has received a potential five-year, $1.54 billion contract from the U.S. Army to produce heavy tactical vehicles for the military branch.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal in Michigan conducted an internet solicitation and received one bid for the fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract.
The service will determine work locations and obligate funding upon award of each task order and expects contract work to run through Aug. 19, 2029.
