Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) will continue to perform engineering and science services for NASA’s Huntsville, Alabama-based Marshall Space Flight Center under a one-year, $127.8 million contract modification.
Jacobs said Tuesday the company started its science and engineering and technician support to MSFC on Oct. 3, 2015 and will extend work through Sept. 30, 2016.
Terence Hagen, Jacobs’ aerospace and technology president, said the company will continue to support NASA’s space exploration and discovery mission under the contract modification.
NASA’s Engineering and Science Services and Skills Augmentation contract supports programs such as the Space Launch System, International Space Station and James Webb Space Telescope.
