Italy’s Reply Acquires Federal Contractor FedTec

  • FedTec obtained roughly $100 million in revenue
  • Reply is a publicly traded Italian firm based in Turin
  • CEO Ramanjit Singh and the existing leadership team stay in place

Reply has acquired FedTec, a Reston, Virginia, provider of digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud and infrastructure services to federal agencies. Terms were not disclosed.

The buyer is an Italian company headquartered in Turin and listed on the Italian stock exchange. Reply runs a network of specialized companies, FedTec told GovCon Wire Monday.

Who Will Lead FedTec Under Reply?

Ramanjit Singh will continue as CEO, and the current leadership team stays with him. FedTec framed that continuity as a way to hold onto its culture and customer focus while gaining access to a larger pool of resources.

Singh said the company is positioned to compete for larger and more complex federal programs as part of Reply.

“Our leadership team has created a strong federal technology company that is ready to scale across both the DoD and civilian markets,” he noted.

What Does FedTec Bring to the Deal?

FedTec has supported federal civilian and defense customers for more than 20 years, working in enterprise applications, automation, data analytics and mission support alongside its core services. FedTec said it possesses cleared capabilities, a contract portfolio and customer relationships reaching into the Department of War and civilian agencies.

Its revenue grew more than 111 percent between 2022 and 2024, placing it among the 10 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Washington, D.C., region. FedTec, a $100 million government technology provider, has about 400 employees nationwide.
