NextPoint Group has acquired software development company UScontracting to expand its cybersecurity and data analysis capabilities in support of intelligence community customers.

NPG said the transaction marks its first acquisition move since Godspeed Capital acquired the company in late 2025.

What Capabilities Does UScontracting Bring?

UScontracting provides software development services focused on cybersecurity, signals intelligence and data analysis for national security customers.

NPG CEO Ron Kattas highlighted UScontracting as a strategic fit to scale mission-focused technology and accelerate growth through their combined expertise.

“We are thrilled to join NextPoint Group for our next phase of growth,” said Bill Haworth, president of UScontracting.

“We look forward to leveraging NPG’s strategic vision, resources, and experience to provide even greater opportunities for our highly skilled workforce and expand our suite of innovative solutions for our customers’ missions,” Haworth added.

How Does the Deal Fit Into Godspeed’s Strategy?

Godspeed launched NPG in December 2025 as a mission technology platform. At the time, Godspeed said it will work with NPG to expand the platform’s software development, cybersecurity and network architecture capabilities and support mission requirements in the intelligence and defense sectors.

Nathaniel T.G. Fogg, partner at Godspeed Capital, said the addition of UScontracting to NPG “reflects our strategy to better serve customers within the national security domain by meeting their rigorous mission requirements.”

NPG plans to drive organic growth for UScontracting by leveraging their combined platform while pursuing complementary acquisitions to expand its technology portfolio.

What Other National Security Platforms Has Godspeed Expanded?

The acquisition continues Godspeed’s broader strategy of building specialized defense and intelligence-focused technology platforms.

In April, the private equity firm established GALT Aerospace as a new defense technology platform focused on multi-domain command, control and communications capabilities tied to Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiatives.

Godspeed has also expanded its intelligence technology portfolio through acquisitions under Crimson Phoenix, including the 2025 purchase of Blackspoke to strengthen artificial intelligence, geospatial intelligence and data management capabilities supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Reconnaissance Office.
