True Anomaly has secured $650 million in a Series D funding round co-led by Eclipse and Riot Ventures to accelerate the development and deployment of space capabilities.

The company said Tuesday the round brings its total capital raised to more than $1 billion since its 2022 founding.
Who Are the Participating Investors in the Series D Funding Round?
New investors include Paradigm, Atreides, G Squared, The Private Shares Fund and VanEck. Existing investors Accel, Menlo Ventures, ACME Capital, Space VC, Meritech Capital, Narya and 645 Ventures also participated in the Series D funding round.
The financing includes $50 million in debt provided by Stifel Bank.
What Is True Anomaly’s Execution Roadmap?
True Anomaly said it plans to conduct approximately a dozen missions over the next 18 months, including the VICTUS HAZE tactically responsive space demonstration in low Earth orbit. The company also plans to execute multiple missions and product demonstrations in LEO and geosynchronous orbit.
The company said it will deliver its Jackal vehicle for the U.S. Space Force’s Andromeda program, which supports the Geosynchronous Reconnaissance and Surveillance Constellation. It added that Mosaic will serve as a software backbone for space warfighting orchestration across multiple programs.
True Anomaly said it plans to grow its workforce from about 250 employees at the end of 2025 to more than 500 by the end of 2026, with plans to exceed 1,000 employees by 2028.

True Anomaly is a defense technology company focused on building spacecraft, software and payloads designed for U.S. national security missions.
Its portfolio includes Jackal, an autonomous orbital vehicle; Mosaic, a mission autonomy software platform; and a payload suite designed for multiple sensing modalities. The company said these systems are designed for operations in contested space environments.
The company said it was recently selected as a prime contractor on the Space Systems Command’s Space-Based Interceptor Program. In early April, True Anomaly and 13 other companies secured spots on the U.S. Air Force’s potential $1.8 billion Andromeda contract for space domain awareness capabilities.
The latest financing came nearly a year after True Anomaly raised $260 million in a Series C funding round.
