USSOCOM Issues $2.7B RFP for SOF Global Services Delivery Contract

U.S. Special Operations Command has issued the final request for proposal for a potential $2.65 billion Special Operations Forces Global Services Delivery, or SOFGSD, contract.

What Is the Scope of the SOFGSD Contract?

According to the solicitation notice published Monday on SAM.gov, the multiple-award contract is intended to provide a range of services supporting USSOCOM’s SOF mission requirements worldwide. These include education and training; program and management support; engineering and technical services; administrative functions; and professional services, such as intelligence activities, civil affairs and military information support operations, multimedia, graphic arts design, photography, operational planning, and physical security.

How Will the Contract Be Structured?

USSOCOM plans to award multiple indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts with a seven-year ordering period. Task orders, with a minimum value of $2,500, will be issued over time to support mission requirements.

How Will Awards Be Determined?

The competition is set aside for small businesses. Additional awards may be made in the event of a tie. Responses to the notice are due by May 13.
