Parsons said Wednesday the three-year, sole-source contract is valued at up to $500 million.

What Is the Joint Cyber Hunt Kit?

The Joint Cyber Hunt Kit is a deployable hunt kit designed to support defensive cyber missions. It incorporates commercial technologies and open-source software to provide mobile security operations center functionality, supporting case tracking and extended detection and response activities.

How Does SealingTech’s JCHK Contract Impact Parsons?

The award represents new work for Parsons, which acquired SealingTech in 2023 to strengthen its cyber capabilities. It reflects SealingTech’s ongoing collaboration with the Department of War’s Defense Innovation Unit and USCYBERCOM to deploy defensive cyber tools that support mission operations. The production contract also positions Parsons as a supplier of mission hardware and software to the War Department.

The award follows the DIU’s selection of SealingTech in March 2025 to develop the JCHK prototype, as well as a success memo issued in November validating the company’s approach to building and deploying cyber fly-away kits.

Mike Kushin, president of defense and intelligence at Parsons, said the company is committed to delivering mission-ready capabilities that help sustain the U.S. military’s operational strength.

“The company’s acquisition of SealingTech, and their JCHK success demonstrates our combined vision to develop exquisite, agile technology that aligns with our customer’s needs and protects national security,” said Kushin.
