Seekr Names Darcey Villasenor as Chief People Officer

Seekr has appointed Darcey Villasenor as chief people officer, bringing a veteran people and culture executive onto its leadership team as the company continues scaling its workforce and global operations.

The artificial intelligence company said Wednesday that Villasenor will oversee its end-to-end people strategy, including talent acquisition, organizational design and employee development. She will report to Seekr President Rob Clark and be based at the company’s headquarters in Reston, Virginia.

“I’ll be building and scaling the People function across North America, and soon expanding it into Europe—ensuring our culture, leadership, and people systems are as intentional and outcome‑focused as the technology we’re building,” Villasenor said in a LinkedIn post.

Prior to joining Seekr, she led people and culture functions at SpryPoint and held senior human capital roles at technology firms StackHawk, Sonatype and Mercuri Urval.

How Does the Appointment Support Seekr’s Growth Strategy?

“Talent, culture, and employee experience are among the most important investments any company can make. Darcey’s proven experience, leadership, and approach in these areas align perfectly with Seekr’s vision and growth,” Clark said. “Darcey joins Seekr for our next phase of expansion, including an ever‑growing international customer base and continued investment in our sovereign AI data center strategy.”

How Does Villasenor’s Appointment Fit Into Seekr’s Recent Momentum?

The leadership move follows a period of growth for Seekr. In June 2025, the company finalized the initial closing of a planned $100 million funding round led by Danu Venture Group and AMD Ventures to support product development and growth initiatives.

“I’m also grateful for the support of our investors at Danu Venture Group and AMD, who share our belief in what Seekr is building,” Villasenor said.
