In a LinkedIn post published Tuesday, Cubic Defense stated that Schmidt will provide guidance on enhancing its air combat training programs and developing advanced systems designed to replicate true operational environments for aviators.
What Are Tammy Schmidt’s Prior Leadership Roles?
Schmidt previously served as director of operations at Technica and spent more than six years at Valiant Integrated Services in leadership roles, including GM, senior VP of global training and readiness, and program director. Before that, she worked for a decade as a senior program manager at Cubic Global Defense, which was combined with Cubic Mission Solutions in 2020 to form the Cubic Defense segment. This followed earlier roles as a senior training analyst at Omega Training Group from 2005 to 2008 and a research fellow with the U.S. Army Research Institute from 2001 to 2003.
Schmidt holds a master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology from Austin Peay State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Columbus State University.
