GDIT Appoints New AI, Growth Executives

General Dynamics Information Technology has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Lei Yu as vice president of artificial intelligence and data, and Anneke Christensen as vice president of growth for the company’s intelligence and homeland security division.

Who Is Anneke Christensen?

Christensen announced her new role in a recent LinkedIn post. “I’m humbled to lead our talented team and energized for what lies ahead!” she said.

Christensen had served as GDIT’s vice president of growth for a different business area before her latest executive appointment. She joined GDIT in 2024 after more than 20 years of private and public sector leadership experience. She previously held executive roles at Acclaim Technical Services and Leidos, where she spent 18 years as vice president. Earlier in her career, she served in the U.S. Air Force as a mission manager.

AI and Data Leadership

Yu, who reports to GDIT’s global chief information officer, will focus on scaling trusted AI adoption. “I look forward to expanding it into new dimensions, enabling people to work responsibly with AI teammates across roles, operations, and processes,” he said in his recent LinkedIn post.

Before joining GDIT, Yu served as vice president of AI and data at Expression, where he developed Trusted Agentic AI and the company’s VOR Agents platform, and secured multiple federal contracts, including an Army Small Business Innovation Research award. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years as an associate professor of computer science at Binghamton University.`
