DLA Seeks Feedback on C5ISR G2S Contract's Open Season

The Defense Logistics Agency has begun soliciting industry feedback as part of the open season for a potential 10-year, $3.2 billion contract to acquire command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, or C5ISR, equipment and services to support the U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command, or CECOM.

According to a sources sought notice published Wednesday, DLA initiated the market research as it plans to on-ramp additional vendors to the C5ISR Gateway to Sustainment, or G2S, contract.

Responses to the G2S market survey are due Sept. 30.

G2S Contract Scope

The C5ISR G2S indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a five-year base period and a five-year option term. In addition to CECOM, the contract will support the Department of Defense and other federal civilian agencies.

The IDIQ contract covers several program support categories, including standard equipment; non-standard equipment; test and evaluation and repair; engineering studies and analysis/industrial capability analysis; and facilitation of hybrid organic/contractor support.

Examples of equipment and services include tactical and strategic networking command, control and communications; tactical cyberspace operations; electronic warfare; and aircraft survivability systems.

The G2S contract’s goals include promoting advanced planning, driving rapid acquisition and facilitating collaboration between DOD and contractors.

The acquisition vehicle includes incentivized logistics support and accommodates long-lead material procurement and bonded storage.

In 2023, DLA awarded nine companies spots on the G2S contract.
