Amentum’s Space Force Range Contract
Space Systems Command recently awarded Amentum, through its wholly owned subsidiary Jacobs Technology, the potential 10-year, $4 billion Space Force Range Contract to support the modernization of the Launch and Test Range System, or LTRS.
According to the company, modernizing the LTRS will enable a multiuser spaceport model for national security, space exploration and commercial launch operations.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers systems engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, sustainment, program management and operations support to Assured Access to Space, SSC’s largest organization comprised of Space Launch Delta 45, Space Launch Delta 30 and the Launch Enterprise.
