Gregory Davis Named DecisionPoint VP of Business Development

Gregory Davis shared on LinkedIn Thursday that he has been appointed vice president of business development at DecisionPoint.

Before joining DecisionPoint, Davis spent over four years at SAIC as director of strategic engagement and business development.

Davis’ Public Sector Career

Prior to transitioning to the private sector, Davis served in the U.S. Air Force, the Department of Defense and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. In his most recent stint with the Air Force, the executive served as director of communications and chief information officer of the Air Mobility Command, commander of the 690th Cyberspace Operations Group and the 6th Communications Squadron, and chief of policy and resources for the directorate of communications within the Air Force Global Strike Command.

In his over three years at the DOD, Davis was a military assistant to both the Secretary of Defense and the DOD CIO. Prior to that, he was chief of the action group in the  Office of Information Dominance and Chief Information Officer, and part of the executive action group under the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. He also held key leadership and advisory roles across the Joint Staff, NATO and White House Communications Agency. Earlier in his career, Davis served in various leadership positions, including commander of the 386th Expeditionary Communications Squadron and executive officer of the 86th Operations Group.
