David Shedd Named BTI360 Advisory Board Chair

Software development company BTI360 has appointed national security leader David Shedd as chair of its advisory board

In this capacity, Shedd will help guide BTI360’s strategic direction as the company continues to develop mission-capable software for U.S. government partners.

In a LinkedIn post published Thursday, the company said it will announce other members of the advisory board in the coming weeks.

Shedd brings over 30 years of national security leadership experience to the newly created advisory board.

Who Is David Shedd?

Shedd is a retired U.S. intelligence officer who served as acting director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

He held senior roles at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the CIA and the National Security Council.

His government career included time as deputy director of national intelligence for policy, plans and requirements; chief of staff and acting director of the intelligence staff within ODNI; NSC’s special assistant to the president and senior director for intelligence programs and reform; and deputy director of DIA.

From 1984 to 1993, the former acting DIA chief served overseas in the U.S. Embassies in Mexico and Costa Rica.

The Geneva College graduate has a master’s degree in Latin American studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
