Defense tech executive Amber Walker was named chief growth officer at Parry Labs.

Parry Labs Promotes Amber Walker to Chief Growth Officer

Defense technology company Parry Labs has appointed Amber Walker, most recently senior vice president of ground, C2 and maritime systems, as chief growth officer.

In this capacity, Walker will report directly to Parry Labs CEO JD Parkes as she oversees enterprise growth efforts across all defense sectors with a focus on driving strategic partnerships, market expansion and long-term value creation.

“Amber has been a force behind some of Parry’s most important momentum this year,” Parkes, a 2025 Wash100 awardee, said in a statement published Thursday. “Her vision, discipline, and mission-first mindset make her the ideal leader to drive Parry’s next chapter of growth.”

Walker said she is honored to help lead Parry Labs’ mission of delivering the digital infrastructure to warfighters.

Who Is Amber Walker?

Before joining Parry Labs in 2024, Walker was senior technical director for Anduril Industries‘ land systems business.

Her industry career included time at Raytheon, where she served as deputy business unit lead for network and cyber technologies. She was also an autonomy lead at Raytheon BBN Technologies.

Prior to Raytheon, the defense technology executive was a program manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s Tactical Technology Office.

The West Point graduate currently serves as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve and is an active member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Walker holds a doctorate in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
