Highlight Secures Spot on Tradewinds AI Talent BOA

Highlight Technologies has earned a spot on the Tradewinds Artificial Intelligence Talent Contract Support Basic Ordering Agreements, or BOA, a multiple-award agreement with a potential value of $249 million if all options are exercised.

AI Talent Contract Scope

The Fairfax, Virginia-based company said Wednesday the AI Talent BOA has a five-year period of performance and no maximum task order limit. Under the agreement, Highlight will assist the Department of Defense in multiple areas, such as technical management, agile development, cyber analytics, cybersecurity, machine learning development, risk management, DevSecOps, systems engineering, maintenance and sustainment, applied data science, program management, operations and training.

The BOA is structured to quickly and continuously integrate contractor talent necessary for guiding and supporting the development of an AI-ready Department of Defense workforce. In line with Tradewind AI’s commitment to fast-track DOD modernization efforts, particularly the adoption of data, analytics and AI technologies, the initiative aims to address the department’s need for AI talent through competitive pay, appropriate labor categories, reduced conflicts of interest and faster onboarding.
