Collazo announced his move to Navteca in a LinkedIn post published Tuesday.
As president, Collazo will provide strategic leadership, drive business growth and oversee Navteca’s operations in artificial intelligence, science data analysis, high-performance computing and other core areas of expertise, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He will also cultivate relationships with industry partners and federal customers; lead business development initiatives; manage capture and proposal strategies for government contracts; facilitate the delivery of tech platforms to clients; and ensure compliance with federal regulations and cybersecurity standards.
Hector Collazo’s Career Background
Collazo has more than 15 years of experience managing and implementing network equipment with a strong background in leading system development initiatives and developing strategic action plans and innovative network platforms in alignment with customer requirements.
He most recently served as chief technology officer at federal IT and professional services firm IPTA.
Before IPTA, he was CTO at Sev1Tech, where he also served as vice president of mission technology and innovations.
The Certified Information Systems Security Professional spent more than six years at Agile Defense, where he served as director of technology responsible for overall IT functions.
