Ijoor received his first Wash100 Award for his excellent leadership that focuses on propping up Alpha Omega for sustainable, long-term growth.
“Gautam is making a powerful entrance into the Wash100 ranks, and it’s no surprise why. As the founder of Alpha Omega, he’s built the company from the ground up into a force in government IT and mission support,” commented Garrettson, who founded the Wash100 Award in 2014.
“Gautam’s leadership is about growth and delivering real impact, and his first Wash100 win is a testament to that,” Garrettson added.
Alpha Omega’s Achievements
Under Ijoor’s leadership, Alpha Omega is cementing itself as a major technology partner of the U.S. government.
In 2024, the company secured a $43 million contract to support rt data stewardship within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service.
The Vienna, Virginia-headquartered firm also won a spot on the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus, or OASIS+, contract.
In addition to government deals, Alpha Omega grew its business through the acquisition of IT contracting firms Macro Solutions and SeKON. The strategic acquisitions enable Alpha Omega to expand its portfolio of offerings to military and federal agency customers.
Ijoor’s work to continuously grow Alpha Omega and turn the firm into a major player in the government contracting industry makes him worthy of receiving the 2025 Wash100.
Executive Mosaic congratulates Iljoor and is looking forward to what he and the Alpha Omega team will accomplish next.
