He will oversee a multidisciplinary team focused on capture management, proposal management, strategic pricing, price-to-win, government-wide acquisition contracts management, competitive intelligence and business analytics. He will also lead the newly formed growth optimization team.
Milam has been with CACI for over 12 years, joining in 2012 as program manager. He went on to become capture manager for more than five years before his promotion to director and later VP of strategic capture– his most recent role.
Prior to Milam’s move to CACI, the business development executive worked as a program manager at Verizon, where he managed a portfolio of projects focused on strategic business and organization objectives.
Milam also held the project manager position and served as principal satellite systems engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology for five years. One of his responsibilities was to provide technical support to the information technology infrastructure of the embassy installation in Baghdad.
Before joining the industry, Milam was a cryptologic technician for the U.S. Navy for more than 10 years.
