Business Executives for National Security has appointed industry leaders Nick Cortezi, Raanan Horowitz, Jeremy Hitchcock and Jim Smith to the board of directors, GovCon Wire has learned.
As new board members, the four executives will help BENS develop strategic partnerships and share best practices in support of the national security community.
Cortezi currently serves as a director at Ryan Speciality and is former CEO of All Risks. He brings to the BENS board his experience in public policy and international relations.
Horowitz is former president and chief executive of Elbit Systems of America. He will leverage his knowledge of defense technology, innovation and manufacturing competitiveness as a board member.
Hitchcock is co-founder and partner at New North Ventures. He has expertise in advancing innovation and deep experience in technology and venture capital.
Smith is president of TheIncLab. The veteran technology and consulting industry executive brings to BENS his expertise in emerging technology and intelligent application development.
Mark Gerencser, chairman of the board at BENS and a four-time Wash100 awardee, welcomed the appointment of Cortezi, Horowitz, Hitchcock and Smith to the board.
