Dan Whitcher, an enterprise information technology executive with nearly three decades of combined government and industry experience, has joined VSE (Nasdaq: VSEC) as chief information officer, according to a recently published LinkedIn post.
Whitcher will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day operational oversight of VSE’s enterprise IT management, asset management, software license management and IT support operations for government customers.
He most recently served at health care consulting firm CVP as chief enterprise architect focused on the State Department.
Before that, Whitcher was with the FBI, helping the bureau establish and sustain an enterprise architecture program to support its enterprise mission operations and modernization needs.
His industry career also includes time as associate director and lead data architect supporting the Department of Justice at NTT Data Services and as project director at NCI.
