ManTech has agreed to purchase Arlington, Virginia-based Definitive Logic in a move to grow technology service offerings and partnerships in the government market.
ManTech said Tuesday the transaction is subject to a clearance process under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act and other customary closing conditions.
The Herndon-headquartered government services contractor expects to close the deal by early fall and absorb more than 330 highly skilled and cleared employees from Definitive Logic.
Matt Tait, president and CEO of ManTech, noted the company made the acquisition to advance its “Bringing Digital to the Mission” strategy.
“With mission expansion and technology cycles accelerating at speed, our government customers rely on ManTech to bring our mission knowledge with our mastery of high-tech, high-end engineering, cyber and data solutions to solve their toughest security challenges,” added the 2023 Wash100 honoree.
