As advisory board members, Sovada and four other leaders from the defense and government services industry will provide Bluestone and its portfolio companies with subject matter expertise and strategic guidance, the McLean, Virginia-based firm said Tuesday.

Gustave Perna, retired four-star general who led the U.S. Army Materiel Command
Teresa Smetzer, CIA veteran and former vice president of national security programs at Salesforce
Jen Sovada, SandboxAQ Public Sector leader and former chief futures officer and senior VP at MissionTech Solutions
Bluestone is an investor in the defense and government services arena. It backs lower middle-market companies catering to defense, intelligence and federal technology customers.
