HII’s Andy Green Receives 2023 Wash100 Award From EM’s Jim Garrettson

Andy Green, executive vice president of HII and president of the company’s mission technologies division, recently accepted his 2023 Wash100 Award during a meeting with Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson.

The Wash100 Award annually celebrates the most impactful executives in the government contracting industry. For 10 years, the award has stood as GovCon’s highest honor, and this year, its rigorous selection process once again produced a class of 100 incredible leaders.

Green’s 2023 Wash100 recognition marks his fifth, which he received for securing major contracts and driving innovation in support of national defense priorities. In 2022, Green’s leadership resulted in multiple major task order wins and major revenue growth for HII. While looking at past accomplishments, the Wash100 Award also considers each individual’s potential for future success.

Since Green’s induction into the 2023 Wash100 class, HII has booked numerous contracts, including a $1.3 billion U.S. Africa Command award to support the Warfighter Recovery Network, a $1.3 billion Navy contract modification to build a third Flight II amphibious ship and several other awards.
