Huisenga has more than two decades of experience in communications system integration efforts for defense customers, DTC said Wednesday.
At Sigma Defense, he was responsible for the company’s go-to-market strategies for Joint All-Domain Command and Control, DevSecOps and C2, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
He previously led Klas Government as president and CEO for almost nine years and held leadership positions on the National Defense Industrial Association’s Washington D.C. chapter.
His industry experience includes various roles at Merlin International, Cobham Antenna Systems, Mission Mobility, Dataline and Science Applications International Corp.
Huisenga worked at the U.S. Navy and its SPAWAR Systems Center earlier in his career.
