The U.S. Air Force is soliciting industry feedback on a draft acquisition strategy for the second iteration of a potential five-year contract for strategic transformation support services that could be worth $3 billion to $5 billion.
DAFSTS II will be a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and may cover the development and use of information technology tools, services and prototypes to help agencies meet their transformational needs.
The military branch details the draft evaluation factors for the contract’s Tier 1 and 2, including technical scenarios, corporate experience, small business participation plan and management and capacity plan.
In 2020, the Air Force awarded eight companies positions on a potential $990 million contract to provide support services for enterprisewide transformation efforts.
Task orders awarded through the initial contract call for IT systems upgrades, cloud migration and implementation of a program management information system.
All comments and feedback are due Aug. 15.
