Valiant has booked a potential $1.4 billion task order to provide linguist and translation services to military personnel throughout the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility.
Two U.S. Army commands jointly issued the task order, which includes supplementary support work in the continental U.S., under the Department of Defense Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprise II contract, Valiant said Thursday.
The company is currently providing DOD linguist services in geographic regions assigned to U.S. Africa Command and European Command.
Dan Corbett, CEO of Valiant, said the award would continue a decadelong partnership with Army Intelligence and Security Command and extend the company’s linguist support to 19 CENTCOM countries.
