She will work with Comtech’s Strategic Council to oversee new technology development and implementation efforts, drive global growth initiatives and identify business opportunities in the space market, Comtech said Tuesday.
Robinson served as president of Ursa Space Systems for the past two years and previously led the global government business at satcom fleet operator SES from late 2017 to early 2021.
Her previous industry experience includes time as president at Space and Satellite Professionals International and chair of the Hosted Payload Alliance.
Earlier in her career, Robinson led strategic communications for U.S. Standing Joint Force Headquarters while working at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
The Society of Satellite Professionals International recognized Robinson with the organization’s Future Leaders Award for 2012.
