She succeeds Joseph Ritzel, who officially retired Saturday after a 40-year career with the company and is helping facilitate a smooth transition as a part-time consultant, D&Z said Tuesday.
King will report directly to D&Z Chair and CEO Hal Yoh and continue to serve as a member of the D&Z Leadership Council.
“I’m excited for her to lead our finance team as the first female CFO in the company’s history, and for the knowledge and experience she brings with 24 years with the company,” Yoh said of King.
King previously served as SVP of enterprise solutions for the company’s Yoh staffing business and helped D&Z unveil the Total Talent Solutions brand, DZConneX, in 2021.
Her over two-decade career at D&Z also included time as VP and controller for the munitions and government group and VP of corporate development.
