He will oversee Leadership Connect’s practice that offers professional services to federal agencies and contractors, the company said Tuesday.
“I’m looking forward to building a professional services practice to complement the product’s market-leading data and technology capabilities so users can better shape contract opportunities and policy positions through strong relationships,” Thomas noted.
Thomas was commissioner of the GSA Federal Acquisition Service from June 2017 to October 2019 and led an approximately $65 billion portfolio of governmentwide procurement and technology programs.
He became executive vice president of special projects at IT company Trowbridge & Trowbridge after his departure from the government and was promoted to chief operating officer when Trowbridge rebranded as Intellibridge in March 2020. Intellibridge is a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital, where Thomas has served as an operating adviser since November 2019.
