Jacobs Awarded $92.5M NASA Architecture, Engineering Services Contract for Environmental Cleanup

Jacobs (NYSE: J) has secured a potential five-year, $92.5 million contract to perform architecture and engineering work for NASA’s environmental cleanup efforts at a former rocket engine and nuclear reactor test site in Ventura County, California.

The company will support the Santa Susana Field Laboratory across environmental due diligence and impact assessments, monitoring and remediation programs under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the agency said Thursday.

NASA aims to minimize the laboratory’s operational impact on the community and its natural and cultural resources.

The IDIQ award gives Jacobs a one-year base period of performance and includes option periods that would extend company services by up to four years.
