DHS Selects 3 Companies for Crowdsourced Vulnerability Assessment Program

The Department of Homeland Security has chosen three vendors for its $43.16 million multi-award contract to assess crowdsourced vulnerabilities across DHS’ information technology assets.

A notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov lists Bugcrowd, Synack and SecureSoft Technologies as the companies holding positions on the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

DHS launched the five-year initiative as part of cybersecurity efforts for its networks, software, web applications and other information systems

The department noted in its April solicitation documents that the program will have six time-boxed challenges and two continuous challenges within the first year, while an option year will cover up to 12 time-boxed challenges and five continuous challenges.
