Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) federal arm has promoted Keith Runtz and Vanessa Godshalk to respectively oversee the company’s defense and safety and citizen services portfolios.
Runtz previously served as defense agencies lead and defense logistics agency client account lead at AFS. He joined the company in 1996 and has managed systems integration efforts for commercial customers across multiple industries.
“I look forward to driving operational and technical transformation for Accenture Federal Services’ defense sector clients to support them in achieving their national security missions with speed and precision,” Runtz said.
Godshalk replaces Ron Ash, who became AFS chief operating officer in September, and will oversee programs for federal agency clients such as NASA and the departments of Homeland Security, Energy, Justice and State as the safety and citizen services portfolio lead.
Prior to this role, she was strategy and consulting growth platform lead at AFS. Her 25-year career at Accenture included time as financial services sector lead for the civilian portfolio and client account lead for the Department of the Treasury.
