Leidos Receives $83M IDIQ Award to Extend Navy Training System Support
The cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is aimed at preparing the SSG trainers to meet the branch’s fleet requirements, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Navy will obligate fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance funds amounting to $2.3 million at the time of the IDIQ award.
The project, which is targeted for September 2028 completion, builds on a June 2019 contract awarded to Leidos to develop, engineer, integrate and maintain the SSG trainers.
The contracting activity is the Carderock Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Maryland.
