Alpha Omega Integration has won a $56 million contract to provide information technology support to a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration component responsible for managing global environmental data from the agency’s weather satellites.
The company said Tuesday it will help the National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service manage IT systems, databases and networks, develop web applications and perform help desk infrastructure support.
Efforts under the NESDIS Integrated Information Services contract are meant to provide the agency insight into system performance, security and other aspects of IT operations.
