The modifications exercise the option period on previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts and work is set to begin on Sept. 1 and run through Aug. 31, 2023, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The vendors will provide port-to-port and door-to-door transportation services for breakbulk and containerized cargo using ocean common or contract carriers.
USTRANSCOM is funding the option period using transportation working capital funds for fiscal years 2022 and 2023.
