TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 27, 2021 — Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has secured a $99 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force for weapons systems modeling development support as part of the Weapon Engagement Simulation Technology for Advanced Research initiative of the service branch’s research arm, ExecutiveBiz reported Dec. 9.
“Our domain experience and innovative approach is helping the U.S. Air Force develop technology for test and evaluation of complex weapon systems that will deter and defeat future threats,” said Michael LaRouche, president of national security and space sector at SAIC and a previous Wash100 awardee.
