Lockheed to Help Maintain Space Force’s Global Broadcast Service

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has secured a five-year, $27.4 million contract to help the U.S. Space Force maintain a one-way wideband broadcast system used to transmit information to deployed and in-garrison forces across the globe.4
The company will provide architecture sustaining engineering support to the Global Broadcast Service through December 2026, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Space Systems Command will obligate $992,000 using the branch’s fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
