Six small businesses have won spots on a five-year, $499 million contract to support construction projects within Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command‘s Hawaii area of responsibility.
NAVFAC received 14 proposals for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive bidding process on SAM.gov and will provide a $10,000 minimum guarantee to each of the winning contractors, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
DOD noted that contractors can compete for task orders to provide design-build or design-bid-build services to military construction projects on the island.
