Larry Gillespie, chairman and president of the board for Isobar Public Sector, participated in the most recent Executive Spotlight interview with ExecutiveBiz on Thursday. He talked about his appointment to his current role, company growth strategies and modernization efforts. Gillespie also discussed Isobar’s new joint venture with Omni Federal and its recent establishment of Dentsu.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview with Gillespie:
“Since I stepped into the role about six months ago, I’ve been heavily focused on three initiatives: recruitment and having the right digital talent in our organization to deliver success; understanding our customer needs and their overall mission; and business and capability readiness. … I’ve seen so many digital transformation initiatives that weren’t successful simply because the organization didn’t understand the customer’s needs. For us, we work extremely hard to understand what our clients really want to accomplish and success in those three areas is absolutely critical.”
