TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 30, 2021 — Two of Zscaler‘s (Nasdaq: ZS) cloud software products were granted “Ready” status under the new State Risk and Authorization Management Program in addition to the software as a service provider being named an authorized StateRAMP vendor, ExecutiveBiz reported Sept. 15.
StateRAMP seeks to standardize state and local agencies’ cloud software security as FedRAMP, which it was partly modeled after, aims to do so at the federal level.
“FedRAMP and now StateRAMP are excellent examples of how policy driver compliance programs can be incredibly efficient, speed up innovation, and build upon the partnerships between private industry and the government,” commented Stephen Kovac, chief compliance officer at Zscaler.
