Contegix has acquired Ascend Integrated in a move to expand the former’s DevOps service and offer new information technology services in the public sector market.
Washington, D.C.-based Ascend Integrated holds an Atlassian Gold Partner status and specializes in IT Agile, system implementation and DevOps services, Contegix said Wednesday.
The combined entity aims to help customers develop custom applications and manage Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program-compliant cloud environments.
Brad Hokamp, CEO of Contegix, said the company selected Ascend Integrated for the acquiree’s technical expertise and experience in deploying systems.
Hokamp added that the acquisition would help Contegix position itself in the federal market’s DevOps segment.
The Dulles, Virginia-based company secured Atlassian Platinum Partner and Verified Government Partner designations to support agencies’ IT deployments.
