DCS to Help Maintain USAF Fighter, Bomber Fleet Under $164M Contract

DCS will help two U.S. Air Force directorates sustain the branch’s fighter and bomber planes under a potential four-year, $164 million contract.

Alexandria, Virginia-based DCS said Thursday it will work with partner companies to support the branch’s Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Directorate and Bombers Directorate across acquisition, fielding, sustainment and foreign military sales programs.

Contract work is scheduled to commence in October and will include program management, engineering and logistics, cybersecurity services.

The industry team will help maintain the A-10, A-29, B-1, B2 and B-52 aircraft platforms. Locations of work are Wright-Patterson, Tinker, Hill and Whiteman AF bases.

Larry Egbert, an executive vice president and manager of the air-sea forces sector at DCS, said the award would expand the company’s footprint in Missouri, Oklahoma, Ohio and Utah.
