DHA received seven quotes for the single-award BPA, which was competed under the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule via the eBuy portal and has a one-year base term and nine option years, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Under the EITSI initiative, the contractor will help DHA consolidate IT services, standardize enterprisewide processes to facilitate IT services delivery and transition existing contracts, including the DHA Global Service Center service desk contract.
DHA will use operation and maintenance funds to finance the task orders. Work will occur in San Antonio and could run through Aug. 31, 2031, should the agency exercise all options.
EITSI is one of the three requirements under the MHS Enterprise IT Services program. The other two are the Capability Service Provider and Geographic Service Provider requirements. On Friday, DHA announced that it will hold an industry day for the GSP requirement on Sept. 7.
