Lisa Gordon-Hagerty, former administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors for Westinghouse Electric Company’s government services division.
She will be responsible for helping Westinghouse Government Services pursue nuclear decommissioning and energy security efforts as the board’s lead director for strategic programs, the company said Monday.
The three-decade national security sector veteran concurrently served as head of NNSA and undersecretary for nuclear security at the Department of Energy from February 2018 to November 2020.
She is a member of the Health Physics Society and the Council on Foreign Relations.
The WGS business supports government customers in efforts to deactivate or decommission nuclear facilities, dispose of nuclear materials and manage nuclear power plant operations.
