Winter brings more than 35 years of defense sector experience as GALT aims to meet its profitability and growth objectives, the veteran-owned company said Friday.
His career includes service as chief of naval research from 2014 to 2016 and as director of the Joint Strike Fighter Program from 2017 to 2019.
He currently leads Winter Strategic Solutions, a technical and business advisory services provider to the military, non-defense, nonprofit and academic sectors.
His appointment comes a week after GALT completed its Fused Integrated Naval Network prototype testing work at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California.
