A joint venture between Prometheus Federal Services and Atlas Research has received a task order to help the Veterans Health Administration define a new patient-centered primary care model for former military personnel.
Titan Alpha, a verified service-disabled veteran-owned small business, will assess three proposed models in support of the VHA’s Patient Aligned Care Team Modernization Initiative, Atlas Research said Wednesday. VHA placed the task order under the Integrated Healthcare Transformation contract vehicle.
“Current PACT models have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and primary care clinician shortages nationwide,” said Margo Rubertus, a senior manager at Atlas Research. “We will use our experience to support the PACT Modernization Initiative to meet today’s challenges.”
Under the task order, Titan Alpha will perform model tracking, measurement and evaluation work to help the agency update the current PACT model and identify preventive medicine approaches. Titan Alpha was among the six awardees on the 10-year, $1 billion IHT contract announced in April 2020.
