Belgium-based TAC designs and produces rods and struts for helicopters, commercial planes, military aircraft and space programs and operates with about 170 employees, the companies said in a joint release published Tuesday.
TAC has partnerships with several aircraft makers, including Leonardo, Airbus and Pilatus.
“We are delighted to be partnering with TAC and its management team and look forward to drawing upon our industry and operational expertise, as well as our transatlantic presence to accelerate its growth. This investment further demonstrates our belief in the long-term recovery of the Aerospace sector,” said Ralf Ackermann, a partner at Searchlight.
